Sídhe is een groeiend collectief opgericht door vier vriendinnen en gewezen collega's die verbonden zijn door een jarenlange samenwerking in de kunsten. We delen een speelse nieuwsgierigheid voor het ongekende en ongrijpbare en zien kwetsbaarheid als een krachtig instrument in onze zoektocht en ontmoetingen. Dit zoekende pad leidt ons naar experimenten en creatie, en het delen van onze verwondering met anderen.
Sídhe is a growing collective founded by four friends and former colleagues who are connected through years of working and wandering together in the arts. We share a playful curiosity for the unknown and the intangible and consider vulnerability as a powerful tool in our search and encounters. This path of searching leads us to experimenting and creating, and to sharing our wonders with others.
Eva De Groote
... dwaalt nieuwsgierig rond en vangt verwonderingen in woorden
Ze was als curator jarenlang verbonden aan Kunstencentrum Vooruit en een van de oprichters van het stadslabo Timelab. In 2018 debuteerde ze als romanschrijver met ‘Na de regen’ en ging ze onafhankelijk aan de slag.

She curated at Vooruit Arts Centre in Ghent/Belgium for many years. She was also one of the founding members of urban laboratory Timelab. In 2018 she made her debut as a novelist, she has been working indepently ever since.

Kathleen Melis

Kathleen was diensthoofd realisatie in Vooruit tot 2013. Vandaag is ze verbonden aan de Sociale Innovatiefabriek waar ze werkt rond maatschappelijk ondernemerschap en starters begeleidt en verbindt. Tussendoor vind je haar vele uurtjes in de yogazaal.

Kathleen was head of production in Vooruit Arts Centre up until 2013. Today she is part of the Social Innovation Factory. Her work focuses on social entrepreneuring and she guides and connects starting entrepreneurs.

Eva Peeters
... is betoverd door het mysterie van de natuur en door transformatie
Eva was een van de voortrekkers om duurzaamheid op de agenda van de kunsten te plaatsen. Ze schreef het boek ‘Groeten uit Transitië’, zette haar schouders onder Pulse Transitienetwerk Cultuur en runt Greentrack Gent. Ze verkent het mystieke via Keltisch sjamanisme, natuuruitstappen, fotografie en schrijven.

Eva was on the forefront of bringing the notion of sustainability in the picture of the arts scene. She wrote a book on sustainability in daily life, has co-founded Pulse Cultural Network for Transition and runs Greentrack Gent, a cultural sustainability network in Ghent. She explores mysticism through Celtic shamanism, journeys in nature, photography and writing.

Barbara Raes

Barbara was artistiek leider in kunstencentra Buda in Kortrijk en Vooruit in Gent. Vandaag runt ze Beyond the Spoken, een werkplaats voor niet-erkend verlies, en is ze als onderzoeker verbonden aan KASK/Hogeschool Gent.

Stevie is componist, muzikant en improvisator; middeleeuwse en hedendaagse muziek zijn daarbij haar grote liefdes. Ze speelt viool en draailier en werkt graag met zowel geschoolde en ongeschoolde muzikanten.

Stevie is a composer, musician and an improviser; mainly guided by her big heart for middle age and contemporary music. She plays the violin and hurdy-gurdy and loves to work both with trained and amateur voices.

Ruben Nachtergaele is betoverd door geluid en steekt je aan met zijn verwondering
Ruben is muzikant, foley-artist en geluidsontwerper. Hij werkt samen met makers in film, theater en dans in creaties en co-creaties. In zijn eigen werk onderzoekt hij de kracht van geluid in hedendaagse rituelen. geluid, installaties, sparring

Ruben is a musician, foley artist and sound designer. He collaborates with film makers, theatre and dance artists in (co-)creation. In his own work he researches the power of sound in contemporary rituals.

Rasa genoot een opleiding als danser en choreograaf. Ze is verbonden aan foam, een transdisciplinair laboratorium dat zijn speelveld situeert op de grenzen van kunst, wetenschap, natuur en het dagdagelijkse leven.

Isabel De Waele gelooft in de kracht van cirkels en rituelen en leeft op via alles wat eenvoud en fijngevoeligheid uitstraalt.
Isabel is opgeleid als klinisch (en kritisch) orthopedagoog en als lichaamsgericht psychotherapeut. Doorheen de jaren voedde ze haar hartstocht met sjamanisme, psycho-energetica en tantra.
